Age Requirement

Step 2
Sign the Enrolment Acceptance Agreement and return it to the Duke College Admission office. This document outlines the conditions of your enrolment and the refund policy. Transfer Requirements for International Students Admission to Duke University
If you’re applying as a transfer student to Duke University, here’s what you need to know:
Application Deadline
Submit your application electronically through either the COMMON APPLICATION or COALITION APPLICATION by March 15. The Transfer Admissions Committee will start reviewing applications after this deadline. You’ll also receive notification of admissions decisions by mid-May.

Financial Aid for International Students Admission to Duke University
For students transferring to Duke University, the number of semesters eligible for financial aid is determined by subtracting the number of semesters studied elsewhere from a maximum of nine academic semesters. This includes assistance for one summer term, if necessary.
Duke accepts transfer applicants who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, undocumented, or DACA students regardless of their financial circumstances. Additionally, they meet 100 percent of demonstrated need throughout their undergraduate enrollment.
